A few hours from the mainland by air, and around five from central Europe, Gran Canaria, and specifically Playa del Ingles, have spring-like temperatures, from 18-25ºC, all year around. Thanks to its climate, one of the best in the world, Playa del Inglés is ideal for escaping from the cold in Europe in winter and the heat on the mainland in summer.

Apartamentos Dunasol are in a central, but quiet, area of Playa del Inglés, one of the best known tourist destinations in Spain and Europe.

They are just 100 metres from the marvellous Playa del Inglés, with the golden sand and dunes that it shares with Maspalomas beach. The two of them together total 3 and a half kilometres of beach. In 1987, the dunes (covering a 4km² area) were declared a Protected Nature Area, in order to foster the preservation and restoration of their ecosystem.
There are three shopping centres in the vicinity, Cita, La Sandía and Yumbo, which not only house a large variety of retail outlets but also leisure opportunities such as mini golf, restaurants, bars, discos, etc.

In the vicinity of Dunasol, you will also find doctors and pharmacies, car rental services, trip booking agencies, bus stops and taxi ranks and a tourist information centre.

Remember that Gran Canaria is more than just a beach. A visit to the capital, a trip inland or a visit to its most traditional villages in the north are interesting alternatives for all of you who would like to learn about the island from a different perspective. Culture and history lovers will enjoy a visit to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and its old city centre, Vegueta. Trekking enthusiasts will discover incredible landscapes along the island’s old roadways. And those who appreciate good cuisine will be welcome everywhere in Gran Canaria, to savour the exquisite dishes that are part of the typical Canary Island culinary tradition.
